MINUTES OF COMMITTEE MEETING OF COLDEAST DRIVE RESIDENTS’ ASSOCIATION
HELD ON FRIDAY 12TH SEPTEMBER 2025 AT 2 P.M.
PRESENT: Diana Hindle, Allan Duncan (Chair), Tony Amber, and Tom Middleditch. Simon Ward was also present as a guest.
APOLOGIES: Apologies were received from Angela and John
COMMUNAL GARDENING:
It was agreed that the standard is acceptable.
COMMUNICATION WITH ERMC:
It was noted that the Annual Service Charges had just been circulated. Tom offered to analyse them and report back to the Committee.
THE ORANGE GROVE HOTEL:
After a full discussion, it was agreed that Diana and one other (TBC) would arrange a meeting with the Hotel and discuss what actions could an should be taken to alleviate ‘parking problems’ for future events, including ‘fencing’ of the grass areas, etc. (all as detailed on the CDRA WhatsApp)
Allan was asked to contact ERMC to ascertain whether they would fit physical deterrents to stop people parking on the grass.
BALANCING POND:
Allan was asked to get up to date information on the repairs to the balancing pond, to stop the flooding.
NEXT MEETING:
It was agreed to hold the next meeting in January 2026.
